新橙皮甙是一种白色粉末,味苦,其熔点是236~237℃。易溶于热水,溶于热乙醇,不溶于乙醚。

新橙皮甙是从枳实中提取的一种天然新型营养甜味剂,其经氢化而得的新橙皮甙二氢查耳酮,甜度更是蔗糖的1500-2000倍,广泛用于果汁、果酒、饮料、糕点及药剂配方的甜味剂(矫味剂),特别适合作为糖尿病患者的食品

新橙皮甙还具有治愈毛细血管的脆性和血浆中蛋白质通透性过高的作用。曾被称为维持毛细血管通透性维生素或维生素P。

Neohesperidin is a bitter, white powder. Its melting point is 236 ~ 237 ℃. Soluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, but insoluble in ether.

Neohesperidin is a new natural nutrition sweetener, which is extracted from aurantium. The sweetness of Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone obtained hydrogenated from Neohesperidin is 1500-2000 times that of sucrose. And Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone is widely used in fruit juice, wine, beverages, cakes and pharmaceutical formulations sweetener (flavoring agent), particularly suitable as diabetic foods.

Neohesperidin also has effects on the cure for capillary fragility and high permeability of plasma protein. It has been known as vitamins of maintaining capillary permeability  or vitamin P.
