VESTAMID L2140 is a semi-crystalline, unfilled, electrically isolating, high viscosity, heat- & light stabilized, polyamide 12 compound. It contains lubricants and possesses low moisture absorption. It is suitable for the extrusion of tubing (e.g. fuel lines) and semi-finished products. It is processed by injection molding and profile extrusion. This grade exhibits general chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, resistance to heat (thermal stability), UV/light/weathering and oil/fuel. It offers exceptional impact strength. VESTAMID L2140 is suitable for automotive, electrical & electronic and industry & building construction applications.
